🔄️Back-to-Back Purchase Order Creation (Pegasus Opera)

We’ve added a new feature for our Opera Accounting System integration that enables you to create back-to-back Purchase Orders. After confirming a CRM Order with insufficient stock, a two-step wizard menu gives you the option to create a Purchase Order. You can adjust the Purchase Quantity and select Suppliers from a drop-down menu for each Quote line individually.

Lines are then grouped by Supplier, and you can fill in delivery information as well as providing an email address for Order confirmation. Once the steps are completed, Purchase Order requests are created and processed by the Automation Manager, updating Opera and the CRM with the corresponding PO request numbers and automatically sending an email to the Supplier. This feature ensures efficient management of Orders with insufficient stock and allows you to stay within the CRM for all your Order processes!

To enable Back-to-Back Purchase Order Creation, navigate to System Settings here. You'll need to set a Delivery Charge Product and select an Email Template to be sent to the Supplier.

🆕 Customisable New Record Menu

You asked, we delivered! It's now possible to customise the "New Record" menu, in the same way as you customise the CRM Layout. You can add or remove fields where needed to make record creation streamlined for you and your users. When using the Customiser, a new page will appear at the top of the page list - for example, 'New Contact'. Adding fields to this page will make them visible when creating a new record of that type. Mandatory fields will still be added to the creation menu automatically, allowing you to rearrange them as needed.

🔍 Improved Record Search Report speeds

We’ve upgraded our entity search functionality, enhancing speed and efficiency for blank searches. We’ve optimized memory usage for “search everything” queries with custom sorting, ensuring smoother operations. The search Reports now remember your last search term, reducing unnecessary system load. For searches with no specific terms, we’ve implemented a different query strategy that skips some steps, improving the speed and reliability.

🐛 Other Enhancements & Fixes

  • Added a help icon to the Growth Engine that links to the Growth Hub (help articles focused on the Growth Engine).

  • If you have our new Tasks enabled, the API call that would create an old style Task will now create a new Task automatically. This will make it easier to migrate to new Tasks even if you have bespoke processes.

  • Fixed a bug where changing a Disabled User to an Unlicensed User doesn’t allow it to appear in lists.

  • Increased the maximum Document size limit from 2MB to 30MB when editing Documents created via the CRM.

  • Fixed a bug where clicking 'cancel' on the Delivery Charges popup doesn’t cancel Order Confirmation.

  • Fixed a bug where collection properties (such as Tags) couldn't be searched for when adding a filter to a Report.

  • Fixed a bug where Katana could receive Order confirmation messages multiple times.

  • Updated the Data Import to correctly report timeout errors.

  • Fixed a bug with Unleashed pricing not handling discounts off a customer’s sell price tier.

  • The delete button for Campaign Activities will no longer show if you don't have CRM delete permissions.

  • Fixed a UI issue with the new Tasks list in the mobile view.

  • Fixed a bug where converting a simple Quote to a template Quote would leave an orphan Opportunity record.

  • Fixed the links to Cin7 not showing on Sales Ledgers anymore.

  • Fixed help links in the Enquiry Web Form editor that were not appearing correctly.

  • Fixed a timeout when adding new Warehouses to Available Stock Calculations.

  • Fixed a bug where B2C conversions wouldn't leave a “Deleted by” entry in the audit log for the Company being deleted.

  • Fixed a bug where the status detail multi select incorrectly showed the “select fields” button.

  • Fixed a bug where duplicating a Quote could cause the pipeline drop-down to display the wrong value.

  • Fixed a bug where the 'Create' button did not appear for reverse entity relationships.

  • Fixed a bug where the 'Split' button on a Campaign Activity wouldn’t appear until you’ve added Contacts and refreshed. It now always appears, but will check for Contacts when you click.

  • Removed the ability to create new Tasks even if the module is not enabled.
