💡 Got a new idea, feature or enhancement suggestion for us? Head to the Ideas Portal to log it or vote on an existing idea!

Did you know...we've delivered almost 500 of your ideas, logged and voted on via the Ideas Portal? With several more in Preview and some of the most highly voted ideas currently planned or in development, we'll soon be delivering even more of your best ideas and contributions!

Please note: We use Release Rings to systematically deliver new features in a way that minimises risk. This means that updates aren't rolled out to every user on the day they're shipped. Instead, they're gradually delivered to a small percentage of customers each day within specified Release Rings. Of course, if customers report issues with an update, we'll pause the rollout while we investigate. So, if you can't see the newest updates yet, don't worry - you'll receive them in the next few days or weeks.

🌿 Mintsoft Integration for 3PL Businesses (using Xero)

Any 3PLs who already have their CRM connected to Xero, can now also connect to Mintsoft 3PL software for additional functionality. This is designed for 3PL businesses (not Mintsoft Multi-Channel Retailers, or at least not yet!) and provides two key features in addition to the existing Xero integration:

  1. As well as importing Xero invoice history for each client, the Mintsoft integration will import a rolling total of un-invoiced fees and charges into the CRM. This will appear in the CRM sales history (as not invoiced) and ensure more accurate CLTV analysis by including this client activity even before the invoice is finalised and pushed to Xero.

  2. When you've been marketing and selling to a prospect via the CRM, you'll eventually want to convert that prospect to a customer and set up an account in Mintsoft. In order to make this super easy for your users, the process for creating a sales ledger in Xero will automatically create a matching client account in Mintsoft. These records will then correctly match up, ready and waiting for you to push invoices from Mintsoft to Xero.

❗Ability to Log Problems Under (simple) Quotes

The last few CRM releases have included UI updates to encourage users to convert Opportunities into simple Quotes rather than creating sub-Quotes. These simple Quotes effectively give the user a single-screen view of both Quote and Opportunity data and features. As part of that, we've now enhanced the functionality to enable the creation and tracking of Problems directly from the Quote screen.

⏰ Activity Timeline Updates

In advance of a big project to enhance activities, Tasks and events, we've launched a few updates to the Activity timeline. The Activity timeline has been enhanced with collapsible sections which to help the user to better understand and more easily navigate the chronology of activities and let them quickly jump to the time period they’re interested in.

For more information on all these updates, please take a look at this article.

📄 Enhanced Deletion for Grouped Quote Lines

When deleting a group from a Quote, users can also choose to delete all lines within that group (i.e. removing the whole group and all products within that group, or just removing the grouping and keeping the quote lines).

❌ Opportunity Value Auto-recalculation Options

It's now possible to disable the automatic recalculation of Opportunity values when a Quote under that Opportunity is created or updated. For example, you might have multiple Quotes under an Opportunity. Or, even with just a single Quote, you may have included product lines on the Quote that are entirely optional or speculative, and as a Salesperson you may know that your $10,000 Quote is only likely to generate $5,000 of business (because the customer is only likely to buy half the items on the Quote). In which case, you can turn off the automatic calculation (which would set the Opportunity value to $10,000 and manually set the value you are expecting - i.e. $5,000; providing more accurate and useful pipeline reporting!

🐛 Other Enhancements & Fixes

  • System-generated emails have been redesigned to improve their appearance and compatibility.

  • Added support for Cin7 Core (DEAR Inventory) stock-by-bin.

  • The Quote line price field component has been updated to include a more sensible set of fields when exported to Excel.

  • A limit of 5k rows has been implemented on data imports to prevent memory issues when deduping rows.

  • The Multi-select feature has been removed from the Enquiry Web Forms builder - this has been remove (at least for now) because multi-selects functionality on native HTML forms really isn't clear to users (with no visible difference to normal single-selects), and this has caused some confusion. And for these reasons, is generally considered best practice in web design to use multiple checkboxes rather than multi-select drop downs on web forms, and we're therefore adopting that best practice here.

  • An Enquires page has been added to Campaign Activity to show the list of Enquiries that have been generated by a given Activity.

  • The parent record should now correctly be set when converting an enquiry to a new record if selected in the previous window.

  • Fixed a bug where Cin7 Core bins would import as warehouses and could cause double counting of stock.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the mentioning of users when editing existing notes.

  • Fixed a bug that caused emails to be re-sent for pre-existing mentions when editing a note.

  • Fixed a bug where the quote line discount percentage would not auto-select for overtyping in some configurations.

  • Fixed missing permissions on the monthly sales ledger stats view.

  • Fixed an incorrect email attachment size limit message.

  • Fixed stock calculations not taking into account the warehouse that is assigned to the quote header.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented email notification settings from reflecting updated values until the page was refreshed.

  • Fixed some issues with reporting on Enquiry status.

  • Removed an erroneous “configure” button on Enquiry status.

  • Added an “Unmap” option to CSV import mapping.

  • Fixed some rare cases where inviting a user could fail during regular overnight maintenance.

  • Fixed a crash when attempting to subscribe an account immediately after creation.

  • Fixed an issue where the Problem Analysis Matrix would unconditionally show the required asterisk for all fields.

  • Fixed webp image formats not generating or displaying thumbnails.

  • Fixed an issue where the “Obsolete” status indicator on configuration lists would not update until the report was refreshed.

  • Fixed some bugs with the ordering of newly added product attributes.

  • Fixed a crash when synching default locale changes with the authentication system.

  • Fixed a bug with documents having incorrect breadcrumbs under Opportunity-Quotes.

  • Fixed a bug with the growth engine graphs showing an empty state incorrectly.

  • Added automatic health check system to OData that should be able to remove and replace faulty instances automatically.

  • Investigated and resolved a memory leak in OData API which should now result in improved performance and stability.
