Customisable Dashboards

Learn how to customise your CRM Overview & Personal Dashboards by adding, removing, and rearranging widgets to display specific data.

You can now fully customise your CRM Overview and Personal Dashboards to suit your needs. Admins can edit the shared Overview Dashboard, adding only the most relevant tiles for the whole team. Every user can also create their own Personal Dashboards, which are private and flexible, allowing you to set up multiple dashboards based on your role, preferences, or daily routine.

Whether you're setting up a high-level team view or building your own personal workspace, you'll find everything you need to get started below.

Prerequisites

  • CRM Admin rights are required to edit the shared Overview Dashboard. If you're not an Admin, you'll still be able to view this Dashboard - but won't be able to make changes.

Available Tiles

You can add these tile types to both Overview and Personal Dashboards:

  • Recent Records - Displays your most recent CRM entries.

  • Tasks List - Shows your current Tasks overview.

  • Report Tiles - Create summary data tiles from Reports by grouping and summarising rows. This is an advanced feature for users who frequently check Report summaries.

  • KPIs - Precalculated key metrics like Order Value, Invoice Value, Order Count, Average Order Value, Open Ledgers, Total Companies, New Ledgers, Growing Ledgers, Shrinking Ledgers etc. You can view data Month to Date (MTD) or Year to Date (YTD), plus previous period comparisons.
    ​MTD - From the start of the current calendar month up to today.
    ​YTD - From the start of the current calendar or fiscal year up to today.

  • KPI Groups - Group by KPIs and Report tiles together for focused insights.

  • Quick Charts - Currently, bar and line charts showing trends like average order value by month or customer count over time compared to last year.

  • Full Reports - Add full-size Reports if you want detailed data views, not just summaries.

Overview Dashboards (Admin Only)

What's New

The Overview Dashboard is now fully editable. Admin users can:

  • Add, remove, and resize tiles

  • Move tiles around

  • Reset changes

All changes apply CRM-wide and are visible to all users.

Editing the Overview Dashboard

To begin editing, click the "Edit" button at the top right of the Overview Dashboard.

To add a tile, click the "+ Add" button (top right). A popup will appear displaying all available tiles and categories.

Navigate the popup by clicking icons or category names. Use the breadcrumbs at the top of the popup to move back and forth between menus.

Click a tile or category to add it to your Dashboard. Some menu items are tiles that you can add directly to your Dashboard for quick access. Other menu items are section headers that you can open to reveal additional options to choose from.

Managing Tiles

To remove a tile, hover over a tile until the delete icon appears in the top right, then click it.

To resize a tile, hover over the bottom right corner until the resize icon shows. Drag to resize in grid increments. The Dashboard is based on a fixed grid layout, so tiles can only be resized in specific step sizes.

To move a tile, simply click and drag any tile. A background panel shows where it will drop and other tiles will shift automatically to fit.

To configure the tile settings, hover over a tile and click the cog/settings icon.

  • For Report tiles, you can select a different Report to display.

  • For KPI tiles, you can change the KPI type or settings.

  • For KPI group tiles, you can rename the group.

KPI Groups

KPI groups start empty. After adding one:

  • Hover over the KPI group tile, click the plus icon to add KPI or Report tiles.

  • Only KPI or Report tiles can be added inside groups because they summarise key data and provide valuable insights when combined.

Save & Undo Changes

When done editing, click "Save" in the top right-hand corner to apply changes visible to everyone.

To start from scratch, click "Restore Default" to reset the Overview Dashboard to the original layout.

Personal Dashboards (All Users)

What's New

You can now create multiple private Dashboards to configure however you want. These are personal and only you can see and edit them.

Creating a New Personal Dashboard

Click the Dashboard dropdown at the top of your screen, then select "+ Personal Dashboard" and a popup will appear.

Enter a name for your new Dashboard and click "Add".

Your empty Dashboard opens immediately in edit mode.

Configuring Your Personal Dashboard

To configure your Personal Dashboard, add tiles by clicking the "+ Add" button in the top right-hand corner and select from the available options.

You can move, resize, or remove tiles exactly as with the Overview Dashboard.

Configure tile settings by clicking the cog icon on hover.

Add KPI or Report tiles inside KPI Groups by clicking the plus icon on the group tile.

Save & Manage Your Dashboards

Click "Save" when you're happy with your Dashboard to keep your changes. You can rename or delete any Personal Dashboard from the Dashboard drop-down menu.
