Identify B2C Customers Based on Cin7 Omni Customer Group

Cin7 Omni customers can auto-detect customer accounts that are B2C using Cin7's Customer Group field.

If you're using Cin7, you can auto-detect customer accounts that are B2C using Cin7's Group field. Cin7 Omni recommend that you use the Group field to categorise your customers, including B2C customers.

Follow the steps below to learn how to set the correct Cin7 Omni Customer Group to help detect B2C customers.

Prerequisites

  • You need to have your CRM integrated to Cin7

  • You'll need CRM Admin rights to follow the steps in this article

Step 1: Go to Cin7 Omni Customer Types Setting

In the navigation menu, select Settings then System Settings. In the Integration page, go to the Customer Types setting and select 'Click to Configure'.

Step 2: Configure Customer Types

Here, you'll be presented with a list of your Cin7 Omni Customer Types. Simply set the 'Is B2C' flag to 'Yes' for the Cin7 Omni Customer Type that you use to categorise your B2C customers.
