This article outlines how to flag customers as B2C based on price tier.

In the CRM, not only can you manage your Business Contacts, but your B2C Contacts too. If you have both B2B and B2C customers, it's important to differentiate these two types of customers within the CRM. Many businesses have different pricing for their B2B and B2C customers, therefore we enable you to identify B2C customers based on their default Price Tier.


  • This feature is available for customers with integrations to DEAR Inventory (becoming Cin7 Core) & Cin7 Omni

Step 1: Navigate to Settings Centre

To configure your settings, select System Settings in the navigation menu.

Step 2: Configure Price Tiers

Once within the Settings Centre, search for 'Price Tier' or 'B2C' and select 'Click to Configure'.

Step 3: Choose B2C Price Tier(s)

This will bring up a list of available price tiers, with the ability to either select 'Yes' or 'No' underneath the heading 'B2C'. Select 'Yes' for the price tiers which are assigned to B2C customers.

Going forward any new B2C customers with this price tier will now be categorised as B2C within the CRM.

Please note: this will not update customers that have already been synced from DEAR Inventory (becoming Cin7 Core) or Cin7 Omni.
