Building a Mailchimp Activity Report with your desired filters applied can help you understand how recipients of your Mailchimp campaigns are interacting with your emails. In this article, we'll look at how to create and use this Report to your advantage.

Step 1: Create a Report

Navigate to the Global Create button in the top right-hand corner and select 'Report'.

Step 2: Search for Mailchimp Activity

In the search, find the Report called 'Mailchimp Activity'. Then, select 'Next' in the bottom right-hand corner.

Step 3: Field Selection

Select the fields to display as columns in your Report. To do this, click 'Show more', then select the following fields:

  • Action

  • Action Time

  • Contact

  • Title

Press 'Next' to proceed and preview your Report.

Step 4: Saving your Report

You'll now be viewing your Report, showing you all types of interactions that email recipients have made on your Mailchimp email campaigns. Use the Filters to the right of this Report to get further insights.

To save this Report for future use, simply click on the save icon in the top right-hand corner, then enter a name. Choose whether to save this just for yourself, or for others in the business to access, and which Report Group (location) you'd like to save it to e.g. Marketing Reports.
