Please note: We use Release Rings to systematically roll out new features to users in a way that minimises risk. This means that new updates aren't rolled out to every user on the day they're shipped. Instead, new versions are gradually delivered to a small percentage of customers each day within our specified Release Rings. Of course, if customers report issues with the new update, we can then pause the rollout while we investigate. So, if you can't see the newest updates yet, don't worry - you'll receive them in the next few weeks.

👩‍🔬 Job Title & Mobile Number on Contact Creation Screen

OK, yes, this is a tiny change...but this was one of the most highly voted, and yet easy-to-implement, features in our Feedback Portal. So, we thought you'd like to know we've done it! Now, whenever users create a new Contact record, they can set the Job Title and Mobile Number directly in the initial creation window...rather than having to create the contact and then set it on the main window afterwards.

🐛 Big Push on Bug Fixes

There aren't many big new updates in this release to get excited about. But, we're working on a number of bigger updates for future releases, and perhaps more importantly, we're having a big push on customer-reported bugs. We'll be announcing a new policy on how we handle and prioritise bugs that you report soon... and in advance of that we are out to "clear the decks". So, hopefully there's something for everyone in this long list of fixes and corrections:

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Status Detail from appearing in Reports properly

  • Improved the automatic detection of report arguments when they are customised into a page, avoiding common scenarios that could result in wrong/unfiltered data being shown.

  • Fixed a bug that showed colleague searches on the Overview Dashboard

  • Voided and deleted sales are no longer imported as active transaction lines in QuickBooks Commerce (formerly TradeGecko)

  • Fixed a bug where pie charts would miss the first data set when generating the “Other” category

  • Fixed a bug that could cause invalid values to appear in the filter panel when toggling favourite filters

  • The 'Post' button on the Activity notepad now disables when clicked to prevent accidental duplication of notes when clicking it twice

  • Grouping and ungrouping Quote lines now attempts to preserve the line sequence

  • Sales ledger IDs are now correctly deduped against other sales ledger IDs during Unleashed ledger creation

  • Fixed a “no delivery locations” message incorrectly appearing while delivery locations are loading

  • Grouped Reports no longer exclude null group values from the list of groups (previously these were left out if they would trigger different bug, which has now resolved bug)

  • The web catalogue flag on Unleashed products now gets its default from a system option (that you can set in settings) rather than always being set to false.

  • The quantity field used by the default Quote lines report has been updated to improve Excel exports

  • Resolved an edge case when an Unleashed user having their email address and name changed would result in Accounts Managers being set to the old user during integration imports

  • Fixed a crash when calculating next available dates in basic stock mode if there were multiple Purchase Orders for the product

  • We've updated the system that manages 'What's New' posts so that they are filtered by the Inventory Management, ERP or Accounting System that you use... making the posts more relevant to your users (who will no longer see irrelevant posts about integration to systems that you aren't using)

  • Added a field to Unleashed customer types that allows them to be flagged as a B2C customer type

  • When creating a ledger during the Quote confirmation process, the contact ID and data is now used if available and required by the window so that contact information, as well as company information is automatically set on the newly created account.

  • B2C sales ledger creation now auto populates contact name and email address

  • Optionally visible pages can now be accessed via the customiser

  • The Individual flag has been renamed to “B2C” and now appears as a Boolean toggle when applying filters in a report

  • Updated the sequence of Activity notepad filters to be more logical

  • Improved the appearance of the “Status Outcome” field when used in Reports

  • Fixed inconsistent addresses being imported from QuickBooks Commerce (TradeGecko) in different parts of the system

  • Fixed appointments to yourself incorrectly sending to the recipients twice
