⚡ Automation Workflows

You can now create more responsive automations by triggering workflows whenever the status of an Opportunity or Problem changes, rather than only when the record is closed.

What’s new?

  • Opportunity Status Changed: The existing Opportunity Closed trigger has been expanded and renamed. Workflows can now run whenever an Opportunity’s status changes.

  • Problem Status Changed: The existing Problem Closed trigger has also been expanded and renamed, allowing workflows to run whenever a Problem’s status changes.

  • Flexible trigger options: Choose whether a workflow should run on closed, a specific outcome (positive, negative or neutral), or a specific status and detail combination.

Key benefits

  • More precise automation: Trigger actions at the right point in an Opportunity or Problem’s lifecycle, without having to wait until the record is closed.

  • More flexibility: Tailor workflows to the status changes that matter most to your business processes.

  • No changes needed to existing workflows: Existing Opportunity Closed and Problem Closed workflows will continue to work as before.

Where to find it

Go to Automation Workflows and create or edit a workflow. You’ll find the new Opportunity Status Changed and Problem Status Changed options in the trigger list.

đŸȘ„ Other Enhancements

  • Quotes - Collapsed group subtotals: When you collapse a group on a large Quote, the header now shows the group subtotal and the number of lines, so you can review Quote value without expanding every section.

  • Unleashed - Batch numbers importing: Batch numbers from Unleashed are now imported against Sales Order lines, giving you full traceability of batched stock right through to your CRM Orders.

  • Cin7 Core (DEAR Inventory) - Carrier information on Order confirmation: When you confirm an Order to Cin7 Core, the delivery method is now posted as the Carrier field, keeping your fulfilment records consistent between systems.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Cin7 Core (DEAR Inventory): Fixed a bug where voided invoice headers in Cin7 Core were not removed when the corresponding sales transactions were deleted from the CRM.

  • Klaviyo: Fixed an intermittent error when attempting to initially connect via OAuth.

  • Quotes: Fixed a bug where converting an Opportunity to a Quote failed to carry over the Tax Code and Price List, requiring users to set these manually after conversion.

  • Automation Workflows: Fixed a bug where changing versions via the Version History panel would cause the trigger to disappear from the workflow view.

  • Automation Workflows: Fixed a bug where modifying the report filters on a workflow could crash for some users.

  • Automation Workflows: Fixed a layout issue where the actions dropdown was rendered off-screen on smaller display resolutions, making it inaccessible.

  • Dashboards: Fixed a bug where data embedded inside KPI group tiles did not refresh correctly, causing stale information to be displayed on dashboards.

  • Reports: Fixed a layout issue where printing or saving a report to PDF from Chrome or Edge clipped the bottom of the page.

  • Reports: Fixed a bug where the 'All Data' filter on a Data Set report was silently removed on save, causing reports to return incorrect or incomplete data after being edited.

  • Reports: Fixed an issue where reports sorted by dropdown custom fields could display results in an inconsistent order.

  • Goals: Fixed an issue where quarterly and some half-yearly Goal targets could be assigned to the incorrect financial year for financial years starting in September, October or November.

  • Global Search: Fixed a bug where users could not highlight text or click to move the cursor in the Global Search window, making it difficult to edit search terms.

  • Custom Fields: Fixed a UI issue where custom fields marked as required did not display the red star indicator, leaving users unaware that the field was mandatory.

  • Products: Fixed a validation gap that allowed the Minimum Order Quantity on a Product to be saved as a negative number, which could cause unexpected behaviour when quoting.

  • Document Templates: Fixed a bug where the Text Template field on the Document Template entity could be edited when it should have been read-only.
