⚡ Automation Workflows
We're excited to introduce Automation Workflows, a powerful new feature that enables you to automate repetitive tasks and streamline your business processes directly within the CRM.
A visual workflow designer sits at the centre of this new feature, providing an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for creating automated processes. Workflows are built by connecting two types of components together: triggers that define when an automation should start, and actions that determine what happens once it does.
You can set workflows to trigger when Opportunities and Problems are created or closed, in addition to using the Quote chasing functionality you're already familiar with. Once triggered, your workflows can perform a variety of actions including:
Sending emails from your templates
Creating Tasks with configurable due dates and assignees
Adding or removing tags to keep your data organized
Firing webhooks to integrate with external systems
Adding delays between steps to space out your communications appropriately
A detailed run history records every workflow execution, providing full visibility into what has run and its outcome, with the option to retry any failed steps without having to restart the entire workflow. The feature also supports full version control, allowing you to make changes in draft mode without affecting live automations and to publish updates when ready.
The introduction of Automation Workflows marks a significant step forward in helping you work more efficiently. We're excited to see how you put this feature to use, and we'll continue to expand its capabilities based on your feedback.
📄 Document Attachments on Tasks
You can now upload and manage documents right from your Tasks, making it easier to keep all your important information in one place.
A new document upload section has been added to the Task slideover panel, complete with a familiar drag‑and‑drop interface. You can upload new files, view any documents already attached, and click to open full document details, all without leaving the Task. Deleted documents are automatically filtered from the list.
This feature streamlines workflows by allowing supporting materials, reference documents, or related files to be linked directly to Tasks, eliminating the need to search for associated documents across different records.
🔧 Hierarchical Equipment Management
We've introduced sub-equipment hierarchies, allowing equipment items to be organised in parent-child relationships. These updates include:
A "Parent Equipment Item" field on the equipment detail view lets you link an item to its parent equipment
A new "Sub Equipment" tab displays all child components associated with a piece of equipment
The "Add" button on the Sub Equipment tab lets you create a new child item or link an existing equipment record as a sub-component
This enhancement is particularly valuable for businesses that manage complex equipment with multiple components, allowing for better organisation and tracking of individual parts.
🐛 Other Fixes and Enhancements
Credit limits are now imported from Financials, providing better visibility into customer credit standings
Katana delivery dates are now imported into the Due Date field for improved Order tracking
Quote duplication now clears the Target Ledger field to prevent incorrect ledger associations on copied Quotes
Added missing Cin7 Core (Dear Inventory) fields to the Sales Order Header
Fixed a bug where Sales Order Header data was being overwritten by Credit Note Header data in the Factory Master integration
Fixed an issue where the Mintsoft integration Sales Ledger lookup would break if two ledgers had the same name
Fixed a bug where clicking "Personal Settings" in the date fields column setting in a report would not close the dialog afterwards
Fixed an issue where revoking and re-adding roles in Evo User Management would fail to re-license the user in some situations
Fixed a bug where the Task Status field was incorrectly available for selection via the customiser
Fixed a UI crash on Sales Orders caused by Quote Tags customisation
Fixed breadcrumb navigation on Sales Order Headers to correctly respect B2C records
Fixed a bug where the Subject field in the email document hover card would incorrectly trigger the send email action
Fixed an issue where the Likelihood field would not populate on Opportunities
Fixed a bug where the enquiry assigned notification setting would duplicate every time the record-level refresh button was clicked
Fixed customer pricing for Unleashed to correctly support sub-groups
Fixed a bug where Purchase Order Due Dates in CRM didn't match the Delivery Date set on PurchaseOrderLine in Unleashed
Fixed a bug where the Unleashed Sync pop-up would appear instead of the Xero Sync pop-up when syncing Contacts
Fixed an issue where Financials would show an infinite price when Quantity was set to 0
Fixed a visual issue where hover cards showed a spinner during initial loading, causing links to shift unexpectedly
Fixed a bug where renaming a KPI Tile group on Personal Dashboards would not respond to the Save button
Fixed a UI bug where Enquiries would show double hover cards
Fixed an issue where the hover card would incorrectly on the email call to action on the company record
Fixed padding issues in the address editor block
Fixed a bug where choosing "Other" as secondary integration during the initial configuration wizard would remove the existing connection
