Adding Goals to Dashboards
Once you've created a custom dashboard, you can begin adding goal tiles to visualise progress across users, customers, or the business. This guide walks you through how to add goal visuals to your dashboard and choose the most appropriate tile type for your needs.
Once you have created your custom dashboard, you will be able to view goals.
Step 1: Add a Visual to Your Dashboard
To begin, open your custom dashboard and click the Add button. This will allow you to insert a new visual tile.
From the menu, select Visuals to choose from different types of dashboard tiles.
Then choose Goals from the available visual types. This will allow you to track progress against set targets.
Step 2: Choose a Goal Tile Type
You’ll be prompted to select the type of goal tile you want to add. Each tile offers a different view depending on what you want to track.
Single User
Displays progress for all goals assigned to a single user. This tile is filtered to the current Month, Quarter, Half-Year, or Year.
Multiple Users
Shows progress for selected users within a single timeframe (e.g. this month). Useful for comparing performance across team members.
Business
Provides a full overview of goal progress across the entire business. Includes all timeframes for a comprehensive view.
Customers
Displays progress for specific customers within a selected timeframe (e.g. this month). Ideal for tracking customer-specific targets such as order volumes.
Step 3: Save Your Dashboard
Once you've selected your tile type and configured the view, click Save to add the tile to your dashboard.
No Goals Set?
If no goals have been configured for the selected timeframe, the tile will display a dotted circle with a prompt to set goals.
