Setting and Using Goals

Goals allow users and admins to track performance metrics across individuals and operating companies.

Types of Goals

There are three types of goals available:

  1. My Business Goals – for tracking performance across operating companies.

  2. User Goals - for tracking individual user metrics across all companies.

  3. Customer Goals - for tracking orders from a specific customer (i.e. Amazon/Shopify Orders)

When you first open goals, you will be prompted to create your first goal:


"My Business" Goals

Click on the "Create New Goal" button in the top right-hand corner of the screen and then select "For My Business":

You will then be prompted to select a Year :

By clicking "Next" you will then be prompted to Set Targets, there are 4 timeframes that you can set goals (Yearly, Half Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly) which are independent of each other. This means that you are able to set goals monthly and also stretch goals quarterly etc:

To set a goal, click on the "+" button on the goal, type in the value (in this example Β£100) and then click "Create":

If you need to change the value, click on the number:

You can then clear the target or update to a new value:

For the Half-yearly/Quarterly/Monthly targets, you are able to apply a goal to just that period or the remainder of the year - useful if you want a reoccuring goal:

This will continue from the month you selected:

You do not need to set a goal for every category, once you are happy click "Create" in the bottom right corner:

Viewing Goals

Detail View

Detail view allows you to to see the progress of the goals via progress bars.

If you hover over the progress bars, you will see the exact value:

To see a more detailed performance click on the three dots then "View Performance":

The line will show you your targets and the bar will show you how you have currently completed.

From the three dot menu, you can also delete your targets:

You can add / update goals via the + button in the same way as during creation:

Progress View

Progress View shows the percentage achieved of each goal set, you can toggle between modes in the top right-hand corner:

"User" Goals

To Switch to "User" goals, in the dropdown in the top right-hand corner select "User":

You will need to click on "Create New Goal" and select "User":

Select the user who you would like to set the goal for, you can select more than one user at once:

When you click next, you will be prompted to set targets:

Targets can be applied to all months and all users at once via the "Apply to remainder of year" and "Apply to all rows" respectively:

By default the "Users" tab will show all users on the lowest frequency set for this user (Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly):

You can adjust the frequency using the toggle to see a specific timeframe :

If you select a user in the User dropdown, it will show all targets set for this user:

Progress View will show the percentages achieved by the specified user(s):

"Customer" Goals:

To Switch to "Customer" goals, in the dropdown in the top right-hand corner select "Customer":

You will need to click on "Create New Goal" and select "For My Customer":

Customer goals are based on Sales Ledgers, for example Amazon Orders:

Click on the "+" and search for the customer you want to set goals for, you can set multiple at once:

Click on the Sales Ledger you want to add and the time frame and then click "Next":

Set a goal by clicking on the "+" button:

Click "Create":

By toggling to "Progress View" you can see the percentages of all customers:
