Add a Contact to a Campaign Activity

How to add a Contact to an existing Campaign Activity.

Written by Jessica Nash

Campaign Activities contain lists of Contacts who will be sent a marketing communication. Targeted Contacts can be added to Campaign Activities, either from Reports, or on an individual basis from the Contact level.

Important: Ensure that the report used for adding contacts is specifically created for 'Contact' type, as other report types will not support this function.

Step 1: Locate the Contact

Firstly, you'll need to find the appropriate Contact using the global search in the navigation menu.

Step 2: Add to Campaign Activity

On a Contact, click on the three-dot icon to open the further options menu, in the right-hand corner and select 'Add to Campaign Activity'.

Step 3: Locate the Campaign Activity

You'll then need to search for the Campaign Activity that you wish to add your Contact to by either using a relevant search term e.g 'Promotion', or by typing in the Campaign Activity's ID.

In Prospect CRM, a campaign represents the overall marketing effort, while a Campaign Activity is a specific action or tactic within that campaign, e.g., sending email invitations or making calls. Ensure that a Campaign Activity exists under the desired campaign before attempting to add a contact.

Once added, the Campaign Activity will show up on the Contact's record, and the Contact will show up on the Campaign Activity too.ย
