Our Notes Import allows you to import business notes in bulk from an Excel spreadsheet, helping you store all of your data in one place. To learn how to use the Data Import tool, check out this article.

The following guide will provide help when filling out the Data Import Excel template.

Mandatory Fields

All the fields included in this section are compulsory to fill in when importing data into the CRM.

  1. Activity Note Date: This will be the date and time when the note was added. This can be in any visual format, for example, DD/MM/YYYY is accepted as well as MM/DD/YYYY. So long as the Excel cells are set as the Date data type, the CRM will interpret them.

  2. Activity Note Text: The text of the note should be entered here.

Recommended Fields

All fields included in this section are optional when importing data into the CRM.

  1. Activity Note User: The user who completed the note.

  2. Activity Note Company ID: If you wish for the note to be added to the Company record, enter in the Company ID of the Company record the notes needs to be added to.

  3. Sales Ledger ID: If you don't have the Company ID that you wish the note to be added to, you can instead add the Sales Ledger ID to match to the correct Company record.

  4. Contact Email: If you wish for the note to be added to the Contact record instead of a Company record, add the Contact's email address.
