You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article
Our Enquiry Importer makes it easy to bulk import any leads/enquiries into the CRM. For example, you might have generated leads from exhibiting at an event or captured details of leads through another third-party system, and would like to import them in bulk.
Step 1: Access the Bulk Enquiry Importer
To access the Bulk Enquiry Importer, head to the Data Importer page (can also be accessed from 'People & Places' within the navigation menu.
Select the drop-down next to the 'Create New Records' button and choose 'Enquiries'.
Alternatively, you can import Enquiries directly from the New Enquiry window.
Step 2: Validating Enquiry Data
Select your Excel spreadsheet from your file browser, or drag and drop it into the highlighted area. For the Enquiries Importer, there isn't a template that you need to generate - just ensure the column headings on your Excel spreadsheet match or are similar to those in the example on screen:
Email
First Name
Last Name
Company Name
Phone Number
Summary
This will make it easier for the tool to automatically assign each column correctly when it starts to upload the data. Press 'Next' once you've selected your spreadsheet.
Double check that the columns are correctly acknowledged by the import tool. In case the columns are not recognised correctly, you can change the title of the columns by clicking the down arrow and then assigning the correct title. Once happy with your headings, click 'Next'.
Step 3: Import Enquiry Data
The upload will begin - the CRM will notify you when the upload is finished.
