Setting up integration to Xero or QuickBooks Online as Secondary Connection lets you access Aged Receivables on all your customers. This shows you which invoices are yet to be paid (i.e. outstanding invoices), which can be particularly useful for your Sales team to know - especially if a customer is a late payer.

Please note: Aged Receivables is only available if you have one of the following Inventory Management Systems connected to the CRM:

  • Unleashed

  • Cin7 Core (formerly DEAR Inventory)

  • Cin7 Omni (formerly Cin7)

  • Katana Cloud Inventory Software

If your Primary Connection (i.e. your main integration) is to Xero or QuickBooks Online, skip straight to Step 2 below.

Step 1: Integrate Xero or QuickBooks as your Secondary Connection

  • Xero users: If you haven't already connected Xero as your Secondary Connection, follow this guide first.

  • QuickBooks Online users: If you haven't already connected QuickBooks Online as your Secondary Connection, follow this guide first.

Step 2: Review Aged Receivables

Now that you've connected either Xero or QuickBooks Online as your Secondary Connection, you can view the Aged Receivables page for each of your customers or view the Aged Receivables main Report (QuickBooks Online only).

Per Customer

Simply head to a Company, click on 'Aged Receivables', then view any outstanding invoices that have not yet been paid, as well as the total amount due.

Main Report View

To get an overall picture of all Ages Receivables against any Company, use the main 'Aged Receivables' Report under 'People & Places' in the navigation menu, or follow this link.

For Quickbooks, this shows all Aged Receivables and the 'Total Due' in the bottom right-hand corner.

For Xero this report is much simpler, and just displays a list of customer accounts that have an overdue balance.
