Prerequisites
To set up your Authorisation Buttons on an email quotation document following this guide
You'll need to set up Stripe integration first if you'd like to use Stripe
For anyone taking card payments, this feature (combined with other Quote-to-Order features like the Customer Portal) will increase the efficiency of your Quote-to-Order Workflow!
Plus, your customers will benefit from an enhanced and seamless experience - being able to enter card details online is much more secure, and less of an interruption than a phone call chasing for card details.
Step 1: Create Quotation or Sales Order
First, create your Quote or Sales Order.
Step 2: Choose Payment Method
Prior to sending the quotation to the customer, you can select the expected payment method; either 'On Account' or by 'Stripe'.
Please note: there's also an option to set a default payment method for all Quotes and Sales Orders. To find this system option, simply search for 'Default Expected Quote Payment Method' within the System Settings.
Step 3: Sending Quote to Customer
Next, send the Quote to the customer for authorisation through the Customer Portal, and they'll be prompted for payment before the order is approved.
