Please note: this feature is in Preview at the moment, which means we're still making a few tweaks here and there to make it even better. It also means that whilst all customers can benefit from the Quote-to-Order Workflow right now, when it's out of Preview it may be restricted to certain subscriptions.

Personalise the Customer Portal with your branding to make it more customer-friendly and recognisable when quotes are being authorised!

Prerequisites

  • You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article

Configure your Branding Settings

Step 1: Go to Settings Centre

Go to the Settings Centre here and search for "Branding".

Step 2: Add Brand Colours & Logo

Add your brand colours as HEX codes in the Primary Colour and Accent Colour fields. Then, upload your logo (recommended size: 200px x 60px) - this should be either a .PNG or .JPG file.

If you use our Quote to Order Workflow Buttons on your quote emails, then you can alter the colour of the buttons here! The branding Primary Colour and Accent Colour fields are what determines their colour as well as the portal customers are taken too.

Add Logo to Word & Email Templates

Once you've uploaded your logo following step 2 on the previous section in this article, you can then add this to your Word and email templates using a merge field.

Rather than adding your logo as an image onto your Word and email templates, adding the merge field instead means if you ever updated/changed your logo in the System Settings, the change will apply to all your templates too - saving you time and effort!

Step 1: Go to System Settings

First, go to the 'Settings', then select 'System Settings'.

Step 2: Go to Emails & Documents

Once within the Settings Centre, navigate to the Emails & Documents section on the left-hand side and scroll down until you reach the Document Templates configure option, and select 'Click to Configure'.

Step 3: Edit Template

To edit an existing template, click on the pencil icon next to the template, then click 'Edit' in the side panel.

Step 4: Add Merge Field

To add your logo into the template, simply include the following merge field in the relevant part of the template:

{BrandingLogo}

Note: this merge field is available to select from the Branding drop-down in the Additional Data Selector on the right-hand side).

To save your changes, click the 'Save' button.

Now you've set up your branding, why not visit this article to learn how to add authorisation buttons to your quotes for your customers, enabling them to visit your branded Customer Portal and effortlessly confirm the quote!
