Configuring Default Quote Expiry Date

This article outlines how to configure your Default Quote Expiry Date within the CRM.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Quote Expiry Dates define how long a Quote is valid for. A user can always change this manually on an individual Quote where required; however, setting a default expiry date can save your staff time and provide consistency in your customer experience.

When a Quote has expired, the CRM will display a warning bar to inform the user.

Prerequisites

  • You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article

Step 1: Go to System Settings

To edit your Default Quote Expiry Date, go to the navigation menu, click on the Settings, then select System Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Sales in Settings

Once within the System Settings, navigate to the Sales page and scroll down until you reach the Default Quote Expiry configure option.

Step 3: Set Expiry

Simply type in how many days your Quotes should be valid for by default. In the above example, we've set 30 days, so whenever a new Quote is created, the Expiry Date will be set 30 days ahead.
