Ribbon Bar Key

This article outlines the basics of the Ribbon Bar within the CMS.

Home Toolbar:

Browse:  

Returns you to the homepage and allows you to browse the site.

Recent Pages:

Allows quick access to recently viewed pages.

Site Properties:

Allows the ability to change various site details such as Site Name, Home Page, Edit Domains, Connected CRM database, IP Permissions, Edit Variables and Publish Site Live.

Site Map:

The site map allows navigation to a list of all pages on your site, as well as creating and moving pages.

Styles:

The styles section allows modification to the CSS styles of the site. 

Layouts:

Layouts are the HTML templates used by the website. This is where placeholders are specified for use in the content editor section.

Content Sets:

Content sets allows the user to easily manage repeated content on the site and to create pages that are pre-populated with content objects.

Articles:

The articles section allows the creation of news articles for your site.  These articles can be viewed on your site via the articles plugin.

Manage URL:

Manage more complex URL rewrite and replacement rules. 

Files:

Used to upload and manage files for use on your site.

Publish:

Content pending to be published to the live site can be reviewed, published or discarded.

Site Selector:

Should you have multiple sites, you can select a site.

Page Toolbar:

Edit:

Switches the browser into edit mode where you can select content blocks to edit.

Edit Properties:

Allows the ability to change various site details such as Site Name, Home Page, Edit Domains, Connected CRM database, IP Permissions, Edit Variables and Publish Site Live.

Quick Styles:  

Change the styling of the site.

Page History:  

See a history for all edited content on a specific page.  

Execution Sequence:  

Determines which content sets are run first.

Edit Layout:

Copy URL:

Generates the page URL.

Generate QR Code:

Generates a QR Code that is downloadable.

Make Homepage:

The current page selected will be made the Homepage.

Preview In New Tab:

Opens a new tab window with a full display of the current loaded page.

Go To Site Map:

The site map allows you to navigate a list of all pages on your site, as well as creating and moving pages.

New Page:

Generates a new page for the site.

Go To Page:

Select any page on your site.

 
Content Toolbar:

Placeholders:

A library for all the content stacks that you have on a specific layout or page.

Find Content:

Advanced search for content within the whole site.
