✅ Improved Activity and Engagement Tracking:
We've enhanced how activity and engagement are tracked across your CRM, giving your teams greater control over what counts as meaningful engagement and clearer visibility into recent interactions with every Contact and Company.
What's new?
Marketing Activities as Active Engagement - Admins can now configure each marketing activity type - sent, opened, or clicked - independently, deciding whether it counts toward active engagement. When enabled for a given type, that activity updates Contact’s last active engagement date, automatically removing them from the 'Needs Engagement' reporting. This gives you precise control over what qualifies as genuine engagement for your organisation. All activity types default to off, preserving existing behaviour for systems that haven't yet configured this setting.
Default Activity Type - A new 'Default Activity Type' system setting lets administrators choose which activity type is pre-selected when logging a note. For teams that predominantly use a single activity type, this removes repetitive clicks and speeds up day-to-day logging. This setting defaults to General Note, so nothing changes unless you decide to configure it.
Last Activity on Contacts & Companies - A new Last Activity field has been added to Contact and Company records, updated automatically whenever a document is created, a task is created or completed, or a note is added. This gives account managers an at-a-glance indicator of recent activity without digging through the notepad to piece together what's been happening. To make tracking clearer, we've also renamed the existing fields: Last Activity is now Last Note Type, and Last Activity Date is now Last Note Date. The distinction is simple - the new Last Activity field tracks the most recent interaction of any kind with the record, while the renamed fields continue to reflect only the last note added to the activity timeline.
Key benefits
Smarter engagement tracking - Decide for yourself what counts as active engagement, so your reporting reflects the interactions that matter most to your business.
Faster, more consistent logging - Sensible defaults reduce repetitive clicks and help your teams capture activity quickly and consistently.
Clearer visibility at a glance - Account managers can instantly see the latest interaction on any Contact or Company, spending less time searching and more time acting.
This update gives your teams richer, more reliable insight into every relationship, helping you stay on top of engagement and respond at the right moment.
📥 Problems Import
You can now import Problems directly through the Data Importer, making it faster to migrate existing data and keep your CRM up to date without manual entry.
What's new?
Bulk import for Problems – The importer supports all the key fields you'd expect - Created Date, Status, Status Details, Problem Type, Contact Email, Company ID, Description, and Note - so you can bring across complete, well-structured records in a single pass.
This enhancement takes the manual effort out of managing Problems at scale, helping your teams get set up and stay current with less time and fewer clicks.
🐛 Other Fixes and Enhancements
Missing Orders - A new system option allows future-dated Orders to be included in Missing Orders calculations, benefiting industries such as brewing and food service where forward ordering is a standard business practice. This system setting is off by default.
Quotes - Total weight and volume are now calculated and displayed in the Quote Header when the system option is enabled. The units of measure are taken from the configured product lines.
Sales Ledger Search - Sales Ledger search results now include the ledger display description, making it easier to find customers by account code. This is particularly useful for Xero-connected systems where account codes are displayed instead of customer names.
Account Code Suggestion - When a user enters an account code that is already in use during company creation, the CRM now suggests the next available code by intelligently incrementing trailing digits (e.g. BROW05 → BROW06).
Company Creation - The address block (including postcode lookup) is now shown by default on the Create Company screen, matching the existing behaviour when creating a company via the Contact creation flow, reducing manual data entry steps for users.
Event Attendees - A new Event Attendees entity has been introduced, expanding each Event's attendee email addresses into a dedicated table and creating a reporting join path between Events, Attendees, and Contacts.
Manual Deletion of Sales Orders & Purchase Orders - Admin users can now manually mark a Sales Order, Sales Order Header, Purchase Transaction, or Purchase Order as obsolete directly from within the CRM. This addresses scenarios where an integrated system hard-deletes a confirmed order, which the CRM cannot detect via its regular import sync. A warning is shown to inform the user that the record will reappear if it still exists in the connected system.
Unleashed - Fixed a bug where the 'Open in Unleashed' link on Orders was causing users to be logged out of Unleashed.
Factory Master - Fixed a bug where Sales Order Header totals only reflected a single invoice rather than the aggregate of all associated invoices.
Sales Ledger Stats - Fixed a bug where accounts that had never placed an order would create an incorrect 'spike' in the sales ledger statistics chart after their first import.
Kanban - Fixed a bug where the 'Show Count Kanban Column Summary' checkbox was missing from the Grouping and Summary view when the page initially loaded.
Notepad - Fixed an issue with notepad syncing reliability that was causing inconsistencies in how updates were persisted.
Data Importer - Fixed a bug where CSV source files could not be opened from within the Data Import record.
Quotes - Fixed a bug where the Quote Expiry Confirmation popup displayed incorrectly when changing the Opportunity status after an Order had already been confirmed.
Company Type - Fixed a bug where a company's type was incorrectly changed to 'Lapsed' during the nightly maintenance run on the same day that an Order was placed.
Dashboards - Fixed a bug where report tile value text overflowed the tile boundary when the tile was placed within a KPI Group.
Klaviyo - Fixed a bug where the Klaviyo integration incorrectly encoded email addresses that started and ended with single quote characters.
Record Layout - Fixed a bug where making a field read-only would reset the record layout customisation to its default state.
