Prospect CRM's postcode lookup helps to quickly auto-fill CRM address fields. It is a way to save time when creating or amending Customer details but also means you only need the Postcode to know their Address. This article explains how to enable postcode lookup for your international customers. If you notice you are entering an Address and the wrong country is showing as options you might want to use this guide to check you have the correct countries configured.
You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article
Step 1: Navigate to System Settings
Begin by navigating to 'Settings' then 'System Settings' in the navigation menu, and search for 'Countries' in the search bar. Scroll down until you find the Countries system setting.
Step 2: Click to Configure
Select 'Click to Configure' to take you to a list of countries. Click into the pencil icon to the right of the country name to make amendments.
Step 3: Enable Postal/Zip Code Lookup
On the toggle underneath 'Postal/Zip Code Lookup' select 'Yes' to enable post code lookup on addresses in this country.
Step 4: Bulk Update
If you want to update this for several countries at once, click the further options menu (three dots) and select 'Bulk Update', then proceed to select all the countries that you'd like to enable this setting for to update them all at once.
