In order to display your Quote Grouping on a Quote Document Template, you'll need to configure a Subtotals Table.

Prerequisites

  • You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article

Step 1: Go to Settings Centre

To edit your Quote Tables, click on the settings drop down, then select System Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to Emails & Documents in Settings

Once within the Settings Centre, navigate to the Emails & Documents page and scroll down until you reach the Quote Tables configure option.

Step 2: Create a New Quote Table

By selecting the 'Click to Configure' link, the Configure Quote Tables window will open. Here, all of your current Quote Tables will be listed. To add a new one, simply click on the plus icon in the top right-hand corner.

You'll then be asked to add information about the new Quote Table.

  • Description: This will help you to identify which Quote Table this is, so it's important that this has a relevant name.

  • Style Name: This will be the Word style that the Quote Table will be displayed in.

Finally, click the 'Subtotals' option for the Table Type. Once happy with the information entered, click 'Create.'

The new Quote Table will then be added to the configure window. Here, we'll need to fill out further information about the Subtotals Table. Click on the pencil icon to view these additional options in the side panel.

Within the side panel, you can choose what Price Fields are shown within the Subtotals Table.

Now that you've created the Subtotals Table, you need to assign this to the Lines Quote Table used within your Quote Document Template. For example, we may use the 'B2B Quote Lines' Quote Table on our Document Template. To assign the Subtotal Quote Table, click on the pencil icon of the Quote Lines table.

Within the side panel, we can select the Subtotals Quote Table that we've just created from the Subtotals Configuration drop-down.

Finally, you can assign a Word style for the Group Title. For example, this might be Heading 1. Now that you've configured your Subtotals Quote Table, you'll be able to display the Quote Groupings added on your Quote Document Template.
