In the CRM, a Quote will go through a series of statuses until it's either confirmed or cancelled. Depending on the type of transaction, you may want to prevent your CRM users from making changes when a Quote is in a particular status.
For example, when an order has been confirmed in your Accounting/ERP system, changes to the Quote after this point will not update your Accounting/ERP system. Therefore, it might be useful to ensure users are unable to edit a Quote in a 'Confirmed Order' status.
