Setting up virtual and on-site meetings is part of our working lives. You can now create appointments straight from the CRM, inviting both customers and other members of staff quickly and easily. To create an appointment from the CRM you will need to have a Contact, Opportunity or Problem open.

Step 1: Select 'Send Appointment'

Click on the further menu icon (three dots) in the top right-hand corner, and select 'Send Appointment' from the drop-down list.

Step 2: Fill in Details

Fill out the required details about your calendar appointment, such as the required attendees, start date/time, end date/time and location.

Step 3: Use Email Templates & Email Signatures

You can also select one of your email templates and email signatures to use within the body of this calendar invitation to incorporate your company branding. Once happy with how your appointment looks, click the 'Invite' button and an email containing the calendar invite will be sent to all chosen attendees. A copy of the invite will also be saved to the Activity feed.

Step 4: Open in Outlook

Within the Send Appointment window, you'll also have the option to 'Download Appointment' which will open this within Outlook.
