This feature allows users to quickly generate a new Word document or email using your document templates within the CRM. This should be configured for document templates that are regularly used, such as your most common Quote document.
Prerequisites
You'll need CRM Admin rights to be able to follow the steps in this article
Step 1: Go to Settings Centre
To configure Document templates, go to the navigation menu, select Settings > System Settings, and search for 'Document Template' in the search bar.
Step 2: Edit the Document Template
Click on the pencil icon of the document template that you wish to add to your quick create documents.
Step 3: Toggle on Pin Setting
By clicking the pencil icon, a side panel will appear where you can set the "Pin to Menu" option to 'Yes' (it should then be highlighted blue).
Please note: depending on your version, this toggle is either titled "Quick Create" or, if you have a newer version, "Pin to Menu" (as shown below).

Step 4: Use your pinned template
Now that we've pinned this template, you'll be able to use the document template straight from the further options menu (three dots) on the relevant CRM record. In the example below, we've set the Basic Email Quote template as a quick create option and can use this straight from the further options menu ('Create Basic Email Quote') on any quote that we create.Β
