You'll need a DEAR Inventory account and log in credentials
You'll also need a Prospect CRM Free Trial - if you don't already have one go ahead and register at signup.prospect365.com
Step 1: Connect to DEAR Inventory
In the Welcome page within your Free Trial account, the first section is "Getting Started". Click the 'Configure Now' button to begin.
If the Welcome page isn't already open, then go to https://crm.prospect365.com/welcome or click the icon in the top right of the screen - it's a tick/setup-tasks icon, as shown in the video below.
In the pop up, select DEAR Inventory from the drop-down list, then click 'Next'.
Step 2: Find your DEAR Inventory API keys
Now, copy and paste your Account ID and Key from DEAR Inventory into the fields. These can be found in your DEAR Inventory system as shown in the video and screenshots below.
You'll need to create a new API Integration, then your Account ID & Key will be displayed for you to copy and paste into Prospect CRM.

Once you've pasted the ID and Key into the fields in the CRM, press the blue 'Next' button.
Step 3: Sit back & Relax for a minute
Once connected, you'll then see a message saying that your data is being processed. Depending on how much data you have to import this process can take a short while to complete e.g. if you have lots of customers, products and sales history, it'll take a little longer.
Checking the Status of your Integration
There's nothing more you need to do. Your data will be available shortly, and when it is, we'll add a few more links to your Welcome page to get you started.
