Quick create allows users to quickly generate a new Word document or email using your document templates within the CRM. Quick create should be configured for document templates that are regularly used, such as your Quote document template.


  • You'll need CRM Admin rights to be able to follow the steps in this article

Step 1: Go to Settings Centre

Simply click the cog icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your CRM to go to the Settings Centre. Then, search for 'Document Template' in the search bar.

Step 2: Edit the Document Template

Click on the pencil icon of the document template that you wish to add to your quick create documents.

Step 3: Toggle on Quick Create

By clicking the pencil icon, a side panel will appear where you can set the Quick Create option to 'Yes' (it should then be highlighted blue).

Step 4: Use Quick Create

Now that we've set this template as quick create, you'll be able to use the document template straight from the further options menu (three dots) on the CRM record. In the example below, we've set the Email Quote template as a quick create option and can use this straight from the further options menu ('Create Email Quote').
