The Opportunity Analysis is a configurable drop-down list featured on an Opportunity. The purpose of the Analysis drop-down is to help categorise your sales Opportunities, in addition to the Opportunity Type drop-down, and improve reporting. For example, your business may operate in different sales areas/product groups and it's important to be able to differentiate these types of opportunities.
In order to configure the Opportunity Analysis within the CRM, you must have the correct level of authority attached to your CRM login. If you don't, then please contact the Key CRM user within your business.
Step 1: Navigate to Settings Centre
To edit your Opportunity Analysis, click on the settings icon in the bottom left-hand corner.
Step 2: Go to Sales in Settings
Once within the Settings Centre, navigate to the Sales section and scroll down until you reach the Opportunity Analysis configure option.
Step 3: Configure Opportunity Analysis
By selecting the 'Click here to Configure' link, the Configure Opportunity Analysis window will open. Within this window, all of your current Opportunity Analyses will be listed. To add a new one, click on the + icon in the top right-hand corner.
You will now be able to start filling out information about your new Opportunity Analysis. The description should be relevant for all CRM users and helpfully summarise the Opportunity Analysis. Once happy with the information entered, click 'Create' and your new Opportunity Analysis will be created.
Step 4: Obsolete old Opportunity Analyses
To obsolete any old Opportunity Analyses, click on the pencil icon next to the required Opportunity Analysis and click 'Obsolete'.
