When a user adds a note to the CRM, they can select the Interaction Type where this note originated from. For example, you may have Interaction Types like 'Made Contact', 'Incoming Call' and 'Customer Meeting'.

Prerequisites

  • You'll need CRM Admin rights in order to follow the steps in this article

Step 1: Go to Settings Centre

To edit your Interaction Types, click on the settings drop down, then select System Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to General in Settings

Once within the Settings Centre, navigate to the General page and scroll down until you reach the Interaction Types configure option.

Step 3: Add New Interaction Type

By selecting the 'Click here to Configure' link, the Configure Interaction Types window will open. Here, all of your pre-existing Interaction Types will be listed. To add a new one, click on the plus icon in the top right-hand corner.

Step 4: Add Interaction Type Details

You'll now be able to give your Interaction Type a Description. Ensure this is relevant for your CRM users.

Once happy with the information entered, click 'Create' and your new Interaction Type will be available!
